This part of the site, Road
Trip, has as it's main page a map displaying our journey across the
United States. Each numbered square is a stop. If you'd like
to follow our journey in the order we traveled, just click on the button
at the bottom of the page labeled, "Next Stop (name of place)."
You can also return to the page with the map by clicking the road
tripping automobile and then click on the individual numbered square to
jump to that city's page. You can also follow the route in
blue and when you get to each stop, it will display a
brief note on what was there.
The narrative displayed in black is Sandra's journal in which she made
entries each night. The extra commits by John are in this
beautiful cinnamon color.
Saturday, September 27, 2014:
John and I left Statesville about 10:30 and drove to
Bremen, Ga. We spent the night in a Quality Inn.
(We spent almost every night in a Choice Hotel,
either a Quality Inn, Comfort Inn or Econolodge. We earned enough
points that the last three night cost us nothing and we still had about
two nights worth of points to cash in.) |
